Kids Mosaic Workshop with Mujeres Gonzalez Art

No experience necessary. Recommended ages 5+.
Join us as Dolores, of Mujeres Gonzalez Art, introduces the beautiful art of mosaic to kids! You will learn how to prepare the wood, to mortar your mosaic with glass tile and grout the complete board, and then paint your grout to finish your mosaic! The mosaic project will provide young artists with an opportunity to create incredible memories that will surely last a lifetime.

Mosaics Summer Camp is new for this season! We can’t wait for you to see what we have planned for this year’s program. My introductory workshops are the perfect starting point to learn mosaic. I provide all the tools, materials, and instruction needed to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art. During the workshop, you will select color stained glass & tile from an extensive collection to transform 5 x 7 inch plain wood board into your unique creation through mosaic. I will guide you through the design process and putting it all together to make your very own art piece! I share my own creative journey through teaching, and I do this from an authentic place of generosity coupled with a firm belief that within each of us lies a spark of creativity. We are all born with imagination and the desire for self-expression but very often, by the time we reach adulthood, it has been squashed out of us. I am on a mission to re-ignite creativity through making as the start of a journey that opens us to new possibilities!

Ticket admits one child + parent/guardians(s).
Tickets are non-refundable after purchase.
Tickets may be transferred to another guest in the event of non-attendance but are not transferrable between events. Please contact info@rachandry.com for any questions regarding waitlist transfers, cancellations, or non-attendance.
In the event of a cancellation, guests will be notified prior to the event for arrangements and any further information.
